01

A young woman struggles with the differing opinions of her best friend and her boyfriend about a tiny heart she found suspended inside a glass box. The only problem is… it’s starting to grow.

One day, Clara stumbles upon a small glass box with a tiny red heart inside it. She doesn’t know whose it is or what it is, but she’s interested in it. The only problem is that this tiny glass box and heart are growing at an alarming rate. Clara tries to keep hold of this fragile, growing object while facing the negative backlash of her friends and family. No one wants her to keep it and they all think she’s being stupid. But Clara still wants the glass box and heart - even though she’s oblivious as to what it really is. So much so that she puts her relationships on the line. In the end, Clara’s boyfriend’s reign brings on the destruction of Clara’s precious glass box, and, the destruction of her relationship.

The Mission
What is the film about?
What is the greater goal?
03

This film is about a woman’s right to her own body, and the ability to break free from suppression in relationships. There’s shame that comes with pregnancy out of wedlock, and this story touches on the sensitive topics that surround that. Clara is happy about the “baby”, even though she may not exactly know what it is, and no one shares these feelings with her. She is searching for approval in a world where she will never be accepted and forever looked down on for her “poor decisions”.
Overall, this film is about how society and certain individuals believe they are entitled to an opinion of what a woman does with her own body. It is about reproductive rights, and how women should be able to make decisions about their bodies and their lives without getting negative feedback from those around them.
